kernel version required for Personas 3.0

Hi,


We are in the Personas 3.0 ramp-up and trying to install the software in our sandbox. In the page describing the product (SWDC->Ramp-up releases->Installation and Upgrade->SAP SCREEN PERSONAS 3.0), the required kernel version is stated as 742 available as of August 15.


However, we don't see that kernel version available as of today. Is there a patch level on 741 that will let us install Personas 3.0? I've looked at note 1825215 that indicates this might be possible but it isn't clearly stated. I opened an SAP SR on this question but have not yet received a response. If there is anyone who has installed the ramp-up and knows what kernel version works, your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Documentation for netplan

Hello together,

 

Is there a good documentation for develop netplan graphics?

 

I found a demo program: NETZOCX1

and in the package there are some Transactions to create profiles, nodes...

 

But it would be much easier if there is a documentation to get an overview what I can do with netplan control and what I have to do.

Doubts with images - SAP Screen Personas

Hi Experts.

 

I am looking for rules or prerequisites for work (add) with background images (when we try to add this images an error message appears “Invalid Data Provided“) and to call URLs/Webpages in part of the screen transaction (when we add a URL control the flavor is superimposed by the webpage/the webpage do not respect the size of the URL control).

Screen Personas Suggestion

Not sure if this is the correct place to request new features for Screen Personas... but...

 

It would be a great feature to add a text field that provided instant search (like google or similar to the suggested tags at the bottom of the SCN create new post screen...)

 

Most of my users don't wan't to know - or care to know SAP material numbers, customer numbers, vendor numbers, etc.

 

It would be amazing if I could present them with a text field that they could start typing in the description of the material they want and a list of possible options were to present itself.

 

Or maybe someone figured a way to do this with a complex script... but it would be awesome either way!

No Connections in the 730 GUI

I have a number of students that are having difficulty installing the 730 GUI. They report that the installation seems to go well, but the server list does not populate even when Connections is selected in the left hand window. I know one student is using a Mac but I can't say that all of them experiencing this problem are.

 

Any thoughts on what causes this problem?

Crossdomain and clientaccesspolicy XML file

Dear Experts,

 

I did the SAP screen Personas 1.0 SP2 installation and my kernel level is 7.21.

Am able to access the restgui screen even i logged into screen personas however the flavour icon is not available.

then i checked below URL is not working throws 404 error

 

http://hostname:8006/clientaccesspolicy.xml
http://hostname:8006/crossdomain.xml

 

I maintained the icm/http/file_access_x paramters as mentioned in the config guide. Please guide me to solve this issue.

SAP Screen Personas - Control Not Found

hi,

 

i am new to personas. I am getting an issue control not found. I researched and there is a good tutorial how to handle erros with IF condition when the error is a tab - you would click on the tab and get the object ID.

 

The scenario:

 

go to transaction VA02

 

Enter order number


Go to extras > Output > header > Edit (show output management screen)

 

 

Attached are the screenshot of the scripts. Can you please help me understand how to deal with Control not found issue.

SAP screen personas login issue

Hello All,

 

I have configured Personas & unable to login.While logging into personas "you are not allowed to access this system. if this is not correct please contact your system administrator" message is being displayed.

 

Below attached is the screenshot of configuration check. Both the persona system & target system are same, why the config check tool is unable to determine configuration of clientaccesspolicy.xml, crossdomain.xml, BASIS Version, Kernel & Patch Version (Am I missing any configuration?)

Also,

RFC connection type H is showing "Status HTTP Response : 404" --- I have used communication user for authentication, please correct me.

Getting black screen after sales order save

Unable to see gear icon in personas screen

Hi All,

 

I have configure personas and verified configuration several time and when I access mainapp link, I don't see gear icon. When I click on the system its just blinking. I am missing anything?

 

Also, Should em/global_area_mb = 2gigs irrespective of number of users?

Can I use Planning Function type 'Copy'  to copy something like this...

 

1. hierarchy planning item B copy to planning item X

2. (hierarchy planning item A EXCLUDE hierarchy planning item B)  copy to planning item Y
by the way, hierarchy planning item B is under the hierarchy planning item A.

 

I want to use parameter 1 and 2 in the same planning function.
Can I implement it?

SAPGUI for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

Hello,

 

I am having a hard time finding any information about SAPGUI and support on Ubuntu 12.04. Are there plans to support this release in the near future? I have heard that SAPGUI 7.30 for Java will include support for 12.04 but I can't find a timeframe on when it will be released.

 

If anyone has SAPGUI 7.20 working on Ubuntu 12.04, any info on how to get it working properly would be excellent.

SAP Personas: An unexpected behaviour has been detected and you have been disconnected – please log in again.

Hallo everyone,

 

We are installing Personas and facing several challenges.

 

Personas 2 SP02 was installed according to instructions of Note '1848339 - Installation and Upgrade note for Personas' and configured according to the Config Guide v1.3 (rel. May 2014). The referenced notes were also applied as well as the 'How to config - FAQ' blog by Sushant.

 

  1. The first issue we are facing is that of the crossdomain.xml and clientaccesspolicy.xml files.
    I cannot access them via a browser: 404 - Not found error

    When trying to upload the files to /usr/sap/ using CG3Z, the system issues a warning that those files already exist.
    But when trying to download them using CG3Y, the system issues an error that they do not exist.

    Is it safe to simply overwrite the "existing/non-existing" files with CG3Z with the files shown in the Config Guide?
    What would be the implications of doing so? What should be done?
  2. We are able to log on and execute transactions and perform activities successfully (e.g. SE80, SPRO, KB15, etc.).
    When trying to copy a screen the following error appears: 'An unexpected behaviour has been detected and you have been disconnected - please log in again.'
    Thereafter one can simply continue executing transactions without having to log in again.
    Please see the download of the error attached.
  3. The SAP Kernel is on Release 741, SP0, Patch 26.
    Despite this the team applied Note 1913055 which is applicable to kernel patch 200 onwards.
    Could this have an effect? (Please note that the above error # 2 above occurred before this note was applied!)

User Area OnCreateHandler - looping

Hi Guys,

 

I have created a little script that runs SU3 to pick up and display the user's system id.

 

It works fine when going in for the first time, or if I run it manually from my screen but if I leave my screen and try to return to it from another screen via the back/up/cancel buttons it goes into a loop and then crashed out .... any thoughts anyone?

How to trigger PushOnEnter automatically?

Guys,

 

I'm trying to simplify a sales process and have created a couple of scripts one to display header information, and one to change the information and pass control back to the display.

 

I input a reference - the reference field has a PushOnEnter script associated with it - when I enter the reference the script runs and all the required header details are returned and displayed.

 

If the details need to be updated, the user presses a change button which calls a flavour of the VA02 change header screen. On that screen I have another script button which saves the changes, does some tidying up and returns to screen 1 (display).

 

The base reference is transferred backwards and forwards between the scripts but when I come back to my display screen, even through the reference is complete on the screen I can't seem to trigger the PushOnEnter script to display the updated header info.

 

I've tried various things - this is where I am at the moment (below) - what do I need to do to get this going?

Screen Personas 2.0 Enable/Disable script button in Javascript

Hi,

 

Has anyone tried enabling or disabling script buttons on a flavor using Javascript. I have two script buttons,

  1. The first one (Button1) searches for a contract based on the contract id provided by the user in a text box. (So, the script triggers the transaction me33k, fetches and displays the relevant fields in the flavor)
  2. Now, based on whether the contract is present in the system the user needs to click another script button (Button2) which will allow him to create an order. Currently the button is disabled (ScriptButton.IsEnabled = false in the Properties menu).

 

In the Button1 script towards the end, I need to enable Button2 is a contract is found. So in the Button1 script, at the final step I try to calculate in JS and write the following JS code,

var args.btn2id = document.getElementById("Personas/blahblahblah");

args.btn2id.disabled = false;

 

But this is never works. And I have noticed that the control id does not return the control object in Javascript (so, args.btn2id is always null) and I tried removing the '/' and various other options.

 

Has anyone ever tried to enable/disable buttons in Personas? Is it even possible?

Screen Personas and NWBC - Url parameters for resizing screen

Hi,

 

We are rendering Screen Personas 2.0 screens in NWBC and the Personas screens render correctly. We are wrapping the Short links in a BSP application in PFCG and use the parameter frameless=true so that end users cannot switch between flavors. Is there a list of all the parameters available?

 

The basis for the question is that after rendering in NWBC we noticed that the user has to scroll horizontally and vertically to reach other parts of the screen which would have been easier in a browser. We would like to resize the personas screens in NWBC so that the entire content can be displayed in the content area and scroll bars can be disabled.
